Jimmy was a flamboyant character who enjoyed life, practical jokes and having fun. He had a very loving and soft side as well, which was evident when his "Pops" Al, passed away. Jimmy managed to survive as a young man, the only boy living with five sisters. Some older and some younger. Nonetheless, Jim took his share of lumps. A ride down the stairs in a clothes hamper fortunately only comes once in a young mans life. Even though there were times of calamity between Jimmy and his sister siblings, no outsider dared to mess with any of them. They stuck together as a family and always have each others back. I knew Jimmy since he was about 17. He is my brother-in-law. Has been nearly 41 years now. Going back to Lima will NEVER be the same for me. Jim was my brother, my friend and my ally when all those sisters were together, and we were out numbered. Going outside for a little quiet time together was a welcome relief. My condolences to Jim's "Momma" (Jackie), (who has been like my own "mom" for all these years) for the loss of her only son. And to Cheryl, my wife Chris, Vy, Kathy and Annette as they grieve over the loss of their brother, may you find peace and remember the fun times together. To Jimmy's children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family, friends and coworkers, I am also very sorry for your loss. And, a special condolence to Jimmy's sweetheart and partner Deb, who spent the last several years with him, loyal and loving. Rest in peace, my brother James...Lovingly, Tom

Jimmy, A Dearly Loved NephewA Nephews eyes have gone forever His smile, His laugh, His face Where once he stood before us A lone picture takes his place.Gone too soon, a fine young man From here, your place of birth I can't believe that this is real That you no longer walk this earth.Reality is, I know it's true But still I can't believe A fine young man, with so much life Really had to leave. We loved you from your time of birth We watched you grow and learn My Nephew, we shall meet again When it's our time, to return.I Love You Jimmy, Aunt Debbie
