Janet Faye (Cotterman) Smith, 66, was called into the presence of the Lord at 3:20 p.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.
She was born September 12, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Ervin E. and Dorothy (Dyke) Cotterman. She married French Smith, who survives in Lima.
Janet was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who was dearly loved by all who knew her. She always put other’s and her family’s needs before her own. She will always be remembered for her since of humor, strong will, and love she showed for everyone. Janet enjoyed watching horror movies and soap opera’s.
She was blessed with eight children, Janetta M. (Claude) Macintosh, Dana M. (Jeff) Smith, Terri Ann (Darren) Beasley, Sandra L. (Kurt) Smith, Tammy L. (Daniel) Smith, Matthew W. (Brandy) Smith, Marlene (Sunny) Hundley, and Herbert Warner (Roxy) Smith; 26 Grandchildren, 47 Great Granchildren; brother Ervin E. Cotterman; and sister, Genna Anderson.
Funeral services will begin 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2014, at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2014 at the funeral home.
