Jean Hinegardner age 80, of Cridersville passed away 7:12 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Otterbein-Cridersville. She was born Oct. 20, 1941, in Lima to the late Raymond R. Runser and Maria Efrusy. Jeanie’s significant other, Phil Steiner survives in Lima.
Jean had worked for International Brake in customer service. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Lima.
Survivors include 3 sons: Rick (Lisa) Hinegardner of Dallas, TX, Greg (Sue) Hinegardner of Rockford, OH and Doug (Tanya) Hinegardner of Cridersville, a daughter Jani (Dan) Skirvin of Lima, OH; 7
grandchildren: Pete (Adrian) Young, Chandra (Chadwick) Zink, Danielle (Josh) Maddux, Shelby (Kyle Johnson) Hinegardner, Sydney Hinegardner, Bailey (Alyssa) Hinegardner and Kaiden Hinegardner and 7 great grandchildren: Lehla Young, Case Young, Evan Young, Ellie Sue Young, Kagan Zink, Caellen Zink and Calliope Zink; and a sister Karen (Steve) Neil of Lima, a brother William Neuendorff of Lima, Thomas Neuendorff of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Jodi Hinegardner, a grandson Miles Wortman and a brother Robert Trevillian and Donald Neuendorff.
The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 4 from 11 to 1 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. A memorial will follow at 1 with Pastor Shelly Schultz of Grace Lutheran Church of Jackson Center officiating and private burial of cremated remains will be in Shawnee Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.
