> Jeremy R. Winegardner, age 35, of Elida died Oct. 4 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1977 in Lima to Robert B. and Susan E. (Blauvelt) Winegardner, who survive, in Elida. He had a longtime loving girlfriend, travel companion, confidant and best friend, Lisa Bower, of Jenera, Ohio
> Mr. Winegardner had been a fifth grade teacher at Bath Schools, where he had won Coach of the Year, and was head coach of the Bath High School varsity boys soccer team with a 16-1 record for the 2011 season and had a 10-3 record to date for 2012. He was also the assistant coach for the girl’s basketball team at Columbus Grove. He had been a Lima news carrier for the past 20 years. He was a stock holder and avid fan of the Green Bay Packers.
> Also surviving are 2 brothers: John (Gina) Winegardner of Bellefontaine and Jason (Lisa) Winegardner of Lima, 5 nieces and nephews: Cody of Lakeview, Carmi & Annabell Winegardner of Lima, Melissa Peterson of Columbus, and Seth Schultz of Bellefontaine, and his three labs: Reggie, Polly and Buoy. Uncles Gary (Clara) Winegardner of Reynoldsburg, Fred (Diane) Stickel of New Jersey, Aunts Helen (Tony) Paz and Gracie (Ted) Ruckstuhl of Florida, cousins Pamela Winegardner, Columbus, Dee (Brad) Nielson of Pataskla and numerous cousins across the country.
> Visitation for the extended family will be 2-4 Monday and the public may visit from 6-8 p. m. Monday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
> A private family celebration of Jeremy’s life will be held at a later date.
> In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bath Athletic Boosters for the Soccer program.
