Jerry Myers, age 85 of Pandora, passed at 10:25 a.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Pandora Hilty Home. Jerry Myers, age 85 of Pandora, passed at 10:25 a.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Pandora Hilty Home. He was born January 18, 1937 in Delphos, Ohio to the late Russell Boyd and Avanelle Briggs Myers. On March 24, 1984 he married Faye Shafer, who survives in Pandora. He was previously married to Janice Otte, deceased.
Mr. Myers retired in 2002 from Tower Automotive in Bluffton. He loved going to Eldora Speedway and watching NASCAR. Jerry loved people and cars, enjoyed car shows and the get togethers at Happy Daz Cruise Ins. One of his greatest joys was being outside, gardening, and he was known for his immaculate lawn.
Also surviving are 2 sons – Troy ‘Scott’ Myers of Lima; Scott (Jody) Wells of Gilboa; 3 daughters – Jeri (Keith) O’Brien of Spencerville; Michelle (Bill) Long of Delphos; Heather (Jeff) Steinman of Arlington, OH; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister – Ann Young of Delphos.
He was preceded in death by a brother – John Myers and a sister Nadine Shrider.
Per Jerry’s request, there will be no public services or visitation.
