Cincinnati – Jess R. Snider, age 56, passed away following an extended illness on Monday, May 8, 2023. He was born on June 11, 1966 in Lima, Ohio, the son of Teddy and Melody Snider.
Jess loved his yearly fishing trips to Canada with his family. He was a gamer since childhood and enjoyed cooking with his daughter, then sharing new recipes with his family.
Jess enjoyed competitive shooting with his good boss and friend Bob Krumdieck. He was a whiskey and scotch connoisseur of sorts with a fine collection he shared with family and friends. Reading was a passion of his and he read almost all of the Stephen King novels. Most of all, he thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a true family man that will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jess is survived by his daughter, Abigail Snider of Cincinnati; mother, Melody Snider of Tullahoma, TN; three brothers, Todd Snider of Manchester, TN, Bradley (Theresa) Snider of Springhill, TN, Scott (Kristi) Snider of Monroeville, PA; a sister, Michelle ( Darin) Reese of Hillsbora, TN; 10 nieces and nephews, Ashley (Dustin) Ray, Myranda Lopez, Ted (Kimberly) Snider, Nick Snider, Ben Snider, Jacob Snider, Kiersten Snider, Kylie (Logan) Mary, Tanner Reese and Trevor Reese and 6 great nieces and nephews, Max, Ethan, Bailey, Hannah, Julian, and Elija and a special cousin Mia Ryan. He is also survived by other loving family and friends.
Jess is preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents Laurel and Lou Dell Taylor and Robert Hufford and paternal grandparents Charles and Mildred Snider.
A memorial gathering will be held at BAYLIFF & SON FUNERAL HOME, 311 West Main Street, Cridersville, OH 45806 on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 12 Noon with Charlotte Hefner officiating. A time to gather will be held at BAYLIFF & SON FUNERAL HOME in Cridersville, OH on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:00am until 12 Noon. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Fairmount Cemetery near Uniopolis.
