John Horvath, age 73, of Lima died 3:25 a.m., Monday Feb. 11 at Lima Manor. He was born Jan. 25, 1940 to Joseph Frank and Margaret Davis Horvath. He married Kathy Hampton Aug. 7, 1971 and she survives in Lima.
Mr. Horvath had been a meat cutter for A & P and Farmer Jack. He was an avid Detroit sports fans and loved to play BINGO.
Survivors include a son Jason Horvath of Lima, a daughter Marcy (Don) Kissick of Lima, brothers: Kenneth (Anne) Horvath, Frederick (Patricia) Horvath, sister: Sharon (Charles) Festerman and a sister-in-law Mary Horvath all of Michgan; a nephew Joseph Hampton of Lima, sister-in-laws Therese Hampton of Lima and Kim Hampton of MI.
He was preceded in death by a brother Richard Horvath and a sister Mary Colvin.
The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., Friday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
