John R. Schultheis age 93, of Lima died 4:10 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born Jan. 29, 1922 in Pittsburg, PA to the late John Robert and Edith Moor Schultheis, Sr. He married Betty Jane Leffler who survives in Lima. John R. Schultheis age 93, of Lima died 4:10 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born Jan. 29, 1922 in Pittsburg, PA to the late John Robert and Edith Moor Schultheis, Sr. He married Betty Jane Leffler who survives in Lima.
Mr. Schultheis had worked for Teledyne Ohio Steel for over 41 years. He had served in the U. S. Army during WW II and had received a Purple Heart.
Additional survivors include daughter Claudia (John) Tarter of Dayton, grandchildren Michelle (Paul) Sievers and Matthew Tarter and a great grandson Robert Sievers.
Private family services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
Memorial Contributions may be given to American Red Cross Blood Mobile.
