Today an angel on Earth left to be with the angels in Heaven. Our beloved mother, Joyce A. Dickerson, 83, of Lima died Oct. 4, 2021 at her residence. She was born April 8, 1938 in Lima, OH to Harvey McGue and Martha Rhoades who preceded her in death. On Aug. 12, 1977 she married Glenn J. Dickerson who preceded her in death. She previously was married to Bud Lauck who also preceded her in death.
Joyce loved being with family and friends. She also enjoyed baking, playing cards and scratching lottery tickets. She worked many years at Maplewood Apartments where she retired.
She is survived by 5 sons: Gene (Jamie) Lauck, John (Cathy) Lauck, Bob (Alicia) Dickerson, Glen ‘Skip’ Dickerson, Ken (Kim) Dickerson; 2 daughters: Debbie (Kirk) Wilmoth and Kathy Fisher; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 8 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Services will begin at 8 p.m., Friday with Pastor Randy Davis officiating.
