She was born in Petersborough, Ontario, Canada to the late Vernon and Dorothy Roberts Skitch. June E. Sharp (Skitch) came into this world Friday, June 5, 1936, and left this world Friday, December 2, 2022. She was born in Petersborough, Ontario, Canada to the late Vernon and Dorothy Roberts Skitch. She resided in Bakersfield, California for 40 years and finally settling in Lima, Ohio for the last year and half.
She was a housewife and worked a variety of retail jobs and retired at age 75. June loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, was active in her church, Lima Seventh Day Adventist, and with Allen County Senior Citizens Center. She will be greatly missed by her son – Brian Rowe and daughter-in-law Jennifer, her grandchildren – Korey Smith, Kenneth Rowe, and Kevin Rowe, her great grandchildren – Cody, Connor, Kenney Jr., Mackenzie, and Troy.
She was preceded in death by her daughter – Janet Rowe and former husband – David Rowe.
A celebration of June’s life will be at a later date with the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
