9, 2023 at Locust Ridge Nursing Home in Williamsburg, Ohio. She was
born July 19, 1939 in Lima, Ohio to the late Donald T. and Aunda LaVonne
Priddy Boroff. On May 30, 1958 she married Harry James ‘Jim’ Ingledue whom preceded her in death.
Karen was a member of the Lima Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She was well known in the community for her 30 years as an Avon sales representative.
She achieved Presidents Club status many of those years but
her biggest rewards were the friendships she gained from the Avon team and customers.
Up until 5 years ago she worked as a caregiver for Home Instead where she formed even more friendships.
For Karen caring and cooking went hand in hand. Making a meal for others was
something she loved to do. Karens gift of working with food and people made it possible to co-own
two Lima Restaurants with her brother Donnie Boroff– The Pantry located in the
American Mall and the Kitchen Table located on Harding Highway.
She also worked at Clem’s Bakery and in the Lima City Schools Cafeteria.
Karen loved cooking for her family, friends and community.
Her greatest treasure was her family. She loved being a Mom, with the added bonus
of Grandma status. Achieving Great Grandma level was something that brought her even more joy.
Karen loved to visit with her siblings, and their families, who she was known as Aunt Sis.
