Karen L. Long age 73, of Lima died 10:15 p.m., Friday May 1, 2015 at her home. She was born Nov. 10, 1941 in Rimer to the late Virgil Loren and Gladys Viola Owens Jones. She married Larry B. Bradley who died in 1970 and married Larry G. Long Sept. 16, 1978 who survives in Lima.
Karen had been a secretary for Marathon Oil and Scot Lad Foods. She was a member of County Line Church of the Brethren and enjoyed church activities, reading and gardening.
Additional survivors include a son: Douglas B. (Maria) Bradley of Waynesfield, Marsha L. (Bruce) Hochstettler of Waynesfield, a stepson: Mark A. (Carmen) Long of Piqua, a stepdaughter Sherri Cullivan of Shelbyville, IN, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, 1 brother: Owen (Carol) Jones of Lima and 4 sisters: Charlotte (Bill) Bell of Columbus Grove, Janet (Kenneth) Klingler of Ada, Beverly (Bill) Begg of Bluffton and Marie (Ron) Gallagher of Findlay. Preceded in death by a sister-in-law Kay Jones.
A celebration of life will begin 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at County Line Church with Revs. David Thompson and Ray Hadley officiating.
The Family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to the church.
