Obituary

Karen S. Bilo, age 62, of Lima died 10:54 p.m., Saturday March 26 at Lima Memorial Health Systems. She was born Dec. 16, 1953 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late William Hall and Mary Martha Heckler Reed. She married Michael D. ‘Mike’ Bilo and he survives in Lima.
Karen had been a client service representative for Keybridge and had graduated from Lima Senior High School. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and spending time in her swimming pool.
Additional survivors include a stepson Robert A. ‘Rob’ Bilo of El Dorado Hills, CA, a stepdaughter Stacy L. (Brad) Jones of San Clemente, CA, 5 grandchildren: Braden Bilo, Peyton Bilo, Anna Jones, Lydia Jones and Claire Jones and 2 brothers: William Hall (Tina) Reed, II of Lima and Lawrence (Kathy) Reed of Ashley, IL.
The family will receive friends 2-8 p.m., Thursday March 31 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday April 1, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Bryan Bucher officiating. Cremation will follow the services. The cremated remains will be placed in the columbarium at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
