Kenneth L. ‘Kenny’ Gause, Jr., age 71, of Lima died 9:35 a. m., Wed. May 9 at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 16, 1940 in Lima to Kenneth Leroy and Mary Todd Gause. Sr., who preceded him in death. He married Mary M. Smith March 6, 1986 and she survives in Lima.
Kenny had been a Tow Truck Driver for Ford Motor Co. and was a member of the Lima Moose and Elks. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a craftsman at making and sharpening custom knives.
Survivors include 3 sons: Jeff, Travis and Kenny Gause, III, step son Chad Johnson, a daughter Nikki Jacks of Lima, 3 grandsons: Logan, Lane and Camden Jacks; 2 sisters: Patricia (Bernard) Burkholder of Lima and Judy of Detroit, MI.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Todd and Scott Gause, a brother Gary Gause and 2 sisters Viola May and Shirley Wellbaum.
A private service for family and friends will be held at a later date. No public visitation is planned.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Freedom Flag Monument.
