Kevin Scott Vermillion, age 58 of Lima, passed at 11:29 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at St. Rita’s Mercy Health Care. He was born September 28, 1962 in Lima, Ohio to the late Harold E. and Velva C. Potter Vermillion. He married Patti Kudas, who survives in Lima.
Kevin was a belt operator at Wilson Sporting Goods in Ada and was a member of Lima Community Church. He was a former member of the Bath Township Fire Department and was an avid Buckeye fan. His greatest joys were his grandchildren and his dogs – GiGi and Trevor.
Also surviving is a son – Tyler S. (Megan) Vermillion of Grove City; 2 daughters – Amanda (Justin) Holt of Lima and Kelsey (Justin Sloan) Vermillion of Lima; 8 grandchildren – Jager, James, Hunter, Carmah, Layla, Cayanna, Zyler, Amelia and one due in January – Lincoln; 4 brothers – Robert K. (Thanh) Vermillion of Florida; Harold ‘Rick’ (Mary) Vermillion of Wapakoneta; John A. (Lynda) Vermillion of Kenton; and Douglas D. Vermillion of Lima.
Funeral services will begin 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2021 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the funeral home.
