Kimberly Sue (Woods) Point age 65, of Lima passed away 1:47 a.m., Sunday, November 13, 2022 at her residence. She was born Nov. 28, 1956 in Lima to the late Olen Leroy and Marjorie Hope (Lee) Woods. She married John Point July 23, 2013 and he survives in Lima.
Kim had worked for Orick Tool & Die enjoyed gardening.
Additional survivors include a son Rick (Mary) Ryan of Lima, a daughter Aleda (Michael) McNerney of Pickerington, grandchildren: Logan Ryan, Briley Ryan, Kendall Sampson and Scarlett McNerney and a niece Shonda Moyler.
A private family celebration of life will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.

A memorial tree was planted in memory of Kimberly Point . Plant a Tree

This chokes me up knowing just a small bit of the kind of person Kim is. I recently went through a divorce and didn't have many people caring about the struggles that I was dealing with. I told Kim my situation and she immediately hugged me and said everything is going to be alright. Right then and there it was like a weight was lifted off my chest. I'll never forget that day and I'll never forget that plate of chicken she cooked for me because I wasn't eating. Just that little kind gesture turned everything around for me. Thank you Kim

Rick & Aleda, My deepest sympathy on the passing of your mom. After all these years, I still refer to her as my Aunt Kim. I loved spending time with her in my elementary/"tween" years. I will always remember her laugh. :-) To me, she was one of the sweet souls around.
