My name is Serafin Canizares. I met Krystal when I was just a kid in middle school, and I remember how amazing she was, so funny, and so much fun to hang out with. She was my first real friend/girl friend as a young boy. I must have been 12 years old when we both first met. I remember us walking home from John Muir Middle School from time to time. Krystal was one of the most influential friends in my life, she was very confident and taught me how to believe in myself. Her smile was contagious, and I'll never forget how much she enjoyed living life and how much fun we had growing up together. She was one of my best friends and it was most certainly short lived. Krystal will always live on in my memory, and she will always be missed...Krystal, I miss you. You were very inspiring, and I remember you telling me to never give up and to always look forward to tomorrow. It was one of many profound statements from her that helped me get through my childhood, and I'll never forget our deep friendship. Thank you for always being there for me when I was a young boy when I had no one else to talk to, and no one to cry with. You were there, and I will always remember you and the love we shared for life, music, and art. With love, Serafin Canizares.
