Laura May Wilson age 90, of Lima, Ohio went to be with her heavenly Father 6:05 a.m., Monday, July 31, 2017 at Springview Manor. She was born Feb. 8, 1927 in Wapato, WA to the late Daniel Frank and Minnie Elzora (Phillips) Kelly.
Laura was raised on a great deal of land and became a rancher at a very early age in Idaho. She very much loved all nature and enjoyed caring for and raising many animals including sheep, goats, cows, pigs and horses. Horses were her real passion in life. In addition, she worked as a waitress for 40 plus years and then later in her life as a care taker. Approximately the last 25 years of her life she resided in Ohio.
At the age of 12 she gave her life to the Lord at an old time alter call. The last 40 years of her life she served Him with all her heart, witnessing several miracles and touches from the Lord up until the day before she deceased from this world.
Survivors include a son Daniel Ray Burton of Bottle, WA, a daughter Cecilia Ann Buchanan of Lima, Ohio 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and a sister Mary Faith in Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by siblings: Frank and Phillip Kelly, Ruth E. Kelly Higgenbottom, Dora Elizabeth Tricoli, Esther Tricoli and Hallie Kelly.
She was a member of True Word Tabernacle Church, 104 East Elm Street Bluffton, Ohio. As a tribute to her life here on earth, the church will be dedicating the 11:00 a.m. service on Sunday, August 6, 2017, to her, with special tributes given on behalf of our sister in the Lord.
