Lawrence Clayton Campbell, Sr., age 50 of Lima, passed at 6:49 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2020 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born March 12, 1970 in Hillsboro, Ohio to the late John and Marie Gibson Campbell. On July 4, 2000 he married Sheila A. Case, who survives.

Lawrence was an all around handyman that could do about anything and loved to help others. He enjoyed catfishing, bassfishing, and would cheer on the Green Bay Packers with his son and family. He enjoyed drinking coffee with his daughter and getting donuts and coffee in the morning at Mello Creme. His greatest treasure and pride was his family, and that included his grandpups.

Survivors also include a son – Lawrence Clayton (Magen) Campbell, Jr. of Spencerville; a daughter – Alicia Campbell of Lima; 5 grandchildren – Kaiden, Emmalie, Sophia, Abel, Carme; a brother – Johnny Campbell of CA; 2 sisters – Hazel (Lonzo) Caudill of Lima; Charlotte (Larry) Johnson of MI; his grandpups – Cassidy, Mia, Nala, Wishbone, Delilah, Lilith, Skye, Rhivr, Diablo, and Luna; nieces and nephews – Jan Caudill-Miner; Pam Caudill; D.J. Caudill; April (Mike) Fiero; Lawrence Campbell.

He was preceded in death by a brother – Jason Campbell; a nephew T.J. Caudill and grandpups – Jax, Missy, and Bear Bear.

Memorial service will begin 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020
at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday.

Contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help defray cost.

So many memories of younger years, but the one that meant the most was the memory of Uncle Lawrance coming for my wedding. Of all the things I wanted that day he was at the top. I wish we could’ve had more time together. R.I.P. Memories will love on 😭
