Obituary

Lenville “Oscar” Roberts, 85, passed away 10:38 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born October 3, 1932 in McCrearey County, KY to Roscoe Milford and Lizzie McKee Roberts. He married Elizabeth Cochran December 31, 1952 and she preceded him in death April 10, 2016.
Oscar retired from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant after 33 ½ years. He attended Full Gospel Tabernacle in Lima. His family meant the world to him and he enjoyed camping and fishing. He had a passion for music and played the guitar, bass and banjo.
Survivors include children: Donna (Robert) Brooks of Lima, Patty Roberts of Lima, Len (Sandy) Roberts of Frankfort, KY, Don (Jane) Roberts, Allen (Dawn) Roberts, Larry (Rhonda) Roberts and Kimberly Ann Roberts all of Lima. 40 Grandchildren, 63 Great-Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren, 2 brothers: Woodford Roberts of Elida and Larry G. Roberts of Lima and 2 sisters: Helen Burchett and Brenda Collins both of Lima.
He was preceded in death by his grandchildren Isabelle Johanna Calhoun, Brennan David Rasor and Joseph Michael Sigmund and siblings: Leonard, Don, George, Lindon, Buford, Yvonne Roberts and Viola Griffith.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Funeral Services will be Monday, August 27, 2018 11:00 a.m. at Full Gospel Tabernacle, 1520 Stewart Rd. Lima, OH 45801, with Pastor Ed Jarrell officiating. Following the service burial will be at Ward Cemetery.
