Lerry A. Miller age 77, of Lima passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023 at his residence. He was born December 20, 1945 in Lima to the late Jack E. and Eleanor Jean (Copus) Miller. He married Violet Marie Rugh Oct. 3, 1964 and she survives in Lima.

Lerry enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling in the Hadi capped league with his son Nathan. He attended Lima First Missionary Church and was passionate about talking to people about the Lord. He was also an avid Cleveland Brown and Ohio State football fan.

Additional survivors include children: Stephanie A. (Miller) Lee and Nathan A. Miller both of Lima; a granddaughter Hannah (Adam) Schroeder Lighgow of Warsaw, IN and sisters-in-law: Margaret ‘Pat’ (Jess) Jawanda of Auburn. MI and Sharon Rugh of Edmonton, WA.

No public services will be held and Lerry’s request. Memorial contributions may be given to the Lima Rescue Mission 216 East Wayne Street, Lima, Ohio 45801.

I am the daughter of Lerry A. Miller. Lerry Miller loved tomatoes. He loved to eat homegrown tomatoes. Lerry Miller loved flowers, especially zinnias, cosmos, and roses. After I came home from church Wednesday, August 9, 2023, I fertilized the garden and flowers. The zinnias that were planted in the front yard got fertilized last night. I remember my father saying that they got missed. This was the first time this year for them. I love you and miss you, Dad.
