Wapakoneta – Linda S. Johnson, 62 died in the comfort of her own home after a sudden illness. Linda was surrounded in death by her daughter, sisters, mom, brother, son-in-law, best friend Pam, and grandchildren, who all lovingly cared for her.
Ms. Johnson was born May 11, 1960 in St. Mary’s Ohio to James C. Jones and Helen Jones (Lamarr.) She is survived by Mrs. Jones who lives in Buckland, Ohio.
Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her son Jeb T. Johnson, father James C. Jones, brother Jeffrey T. Jones, and sister Judith L. Jones. Survivors include a daughter and son, Lacy and Dustin Gallaspie, and grandchildren Lucy and Liam, who were her world. She is survived by three sisters, two brothers and her furry friends Simon, Bob, and Chloe who were her loyal, loving companions who never left her side.
Ms. Johnson was a long-time Registered Nurse who always had a compassion to help people. One of her latest accomplishments was successfully completing her Master’s Degree for Nurse Practitioner from Purdue Global University but she had not yet started her new career.
Ms. Johnson was a genuinely altruistic and loving person in all of her life. Anyone who knew Ms. Johnson knew that her grandchildren Lucy and Liam were her pride and joy. She lived to love and enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was always there to brighten the lives of others. In her free time Ms. Johnson would be found tending to her beautiful flowers or riding around town in a golf cart with her best friend.
Ms. Johnson leaves behind a huge hole in the hearts of many yet we know her spirit and memories will live on forever. Someday we will meet again.
