Linda Sue Shaw, age 60 of Lima, died at 10:09 p.m., Monday, at her residence. She was born May 5, 1954 in Fayetteville, NC; the daughter of the late Robert and Bernice Carden Garret.

Linda was a homemaker and had worked in quality control with a distributor of General Motors. She was a member of the Lima First Assembly of God and the Eagles Lodge #370 of Lima. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed craft shows, and was very talented with crafts and working on afghans. She will be remembered as a very caring person, and willing to give the shirt off her back.

She is survived by her soulmate- Anthony ‘Tony’ Shaw of Lima; a son – Ronald Kris (Terri) Robinette of Spain; s step sons – Scott (Jody) Shaw and Kevin Shaw of Lima; 2 grandsons – Ronald Kenny Robinette and Ronald Kasey Robinette; a ‘2nd daughter’ – Denise (Jeff) Simmons of Rocky Mountain, NC and their children and Linda’s God children – Timmy and Taylor; 8 step grandchildren; 2 brothers – Robert H. (Marlece) of Burlington, NC; Gary W. (Darlene) Garrett of Burlington, NC; and her little comfort Pomeranian girl – Baby.

She was preceded in death by a brother – David ‘Mack’ Garrett and a sister – Brenda G. Long.

A memorial service will begin 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015, at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, with Pastor Randy Davis officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Friday before the service.
