Lloyd R. Few

Lloyd R. Few, Jr. age 92, of Lima passed away 4:06 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born March 1, 1928 in Auglaize County to the late Lloyd R. and Laura Leota (Lowry) Few, Sr. He married Christine Ehora Sept. 26, 1983 and she survives in Lima.
Lloyd was a member of First Evangelical and Reformed Church of Lima and a life-time member of the Elks, Eagles and V.F. W. Post 1275. He had worked at Standard Oil, been and insurance agent for Prudential and worked for the City of Lima. He was the finest local racecar driver of his generation, racing at Allentown Speedway and Eldora. Lloyd always placed the wellbeing of others above himself. He was a kind, caring and humble gentleman. He was a great fan of his grandchildren watching them compete in high school and college athletics. Lloyd and Christine enjoyed traveling together and made it to 49 states together.
Additional survivors include a former spouse Janet Few of Lima, 3 daughters: Heather Few of Stewart, FL, Margaret ‘Meg” (Brian) Rockhold of Lima, Amy (Jorge) Burgos of San Diego, a son Scott (Sue) Few of Lima; grandchildren: Maggie Seppi, Jessica Worcester, Neely Jeckel, Hannah Slavin, Logan Rockhold, Conner Rockhold and Erin Sarven, 7 great grandchildren and a sister Winona ‘Winnie’ Kautz of Huron, OH.
He was preceded in death by a sister Virginia Stacy.
