Lois Jean Wiggs

Lois Jean Wiggs, age 97 of Lima, passed Monday night, December 12, 2022 at St. Rita’s Mercy Health. She was born December 10, 1925 in Lima, Ohio to the late Louis and Agnes Maass Miller. She married Herbert M. Wiggs who preceded her is death.

Lois Jean graduated from Lima South High School and was owner of three Lima area restaurants. The church was important to her, and she raised her children attending the Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed attending the shows at the Encore Theater and listening to the Lima Symphony Orchestra. She was very proud woman who volunteered twice a week at Lima Memorial Health Care Systems for 20 years.

She is survived by 3 children – Sharon K. (Rick) Frymyer of Lima; Barbara J. Martin of New York; Jeff L. (Judy) Wiggs of Lima; 8 grandchildren – Tommy, Tracy, Cassie, Lucas, Amy, Angie, Nathan, and Brian; and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons – Timothy Wiggs and Terrence Michael Wiggs; a grandson – Brett Frymyer; and a sister – Marjorie Bender.

Private family services will be held.
