Lou Ann McGuire, age 59, of Lima went this day, Sept. 12, 2015 to be with family, friends and Savior Jesus Christ. Lou Ann was born Jan. 18, 1956 to the late Al and Mary Claypool Springer. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Randy McGuire.
She is a 1974 graduate of Bath High School, while a senior she was employed with Allen County Court, Allen County Juvenile Court, part time dance instructor with Arthur Murray Dance & Tanya School of Dance. She was a senior Mary Kay sales director for 30 years and office manager for 5 years at Forest Park UMC, where she had been raised in from birth.
Lou Ann enjoyed every aspect of life but was most proud of her son Jack Albert McGuire, Lawton, OK, who she truly loved more than life and never missing the opportunity to tell him, “I love you”. She loved dancing with her husband thru life and spending every minute with family. Lou Ann loved her church family and never refused to assist where needed. She was active with her youth group loving each child as her own. Lou Ann loved animals owning multiple cats and dogs.
Lou Ann is survived by her brothers: Randy (Deb) Springer, Lima, Jerry (Deb) Springer, Lima, Sisters: Jackie Coon, Cridersville, Sharon Robey, Lima; in laws Alyce (Gary) Pfenning, Indiana, Linda Manuel of Lawton, OK, Rick (Cheryl) McGuire, Mason, David (Deb) McGuire of Lima, Cindy (Kenneth) Herber, Antwerp, Bill (Helen) McGuire, Lima, Sam (Cindy) McGuire, MI; Uncle Eugene Claypool of Fort Wayne and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday Sept. 15 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville and on hour prior to services at the church.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Forest Park United Methodist Church with Pastor Tim Benjamin officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the church CUPP program or any animal program of their choice.
