Lucille A. Pellegrini, age 92 of Lima, died at 3:23 a.m., Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Baton Rouge Senior Living Center. She was born November 27, 1917 in Lima, Ohio. She is the daughter of Howard C. and Nell M. Schwab Lipfert. She married Ralph E. Pellegrini, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son – Rick (Melissa) Pellegrini of Lima; 2 grandchildren: Beth (Mike) Hanes and Brett Brensfield, 1 great grandson Justin Pellegrini and a special friend Byron Kerr of Lima.
Mrs. Pellegrini wes preceded in death by a daughter & son-in-law Susan A. (Gary) Brensfield and a grandson Jason Pellegrini.
Mrs. Pellegrini was a retired secretary with the I.R.S. in Florida. She was a member of the Shawnee United Methodist Church. She belonged to the Elks Lodge #54, Lima Eagles and enjoyed golfing at the Tamarac Golf Club. She volunteered at Lima Memorial Health Care System and with the Allen County Senior Citizens. She was a graduate of Shawnee High School where she had excelled at athletics.
No public visitation or services are planned. A memorial plaque will be placed at Woodlawn Serenity Garden Walkway Memorial.
