Marilyn J. Lehman

Marilyn J. Lehman age 87, of Lima passed away 12:05 a.m., Sunday, October 16, 2022 at The Springs of Lima with her family by her side. She was born Jan. 22, 1935 in Lima to the late Harold and Ruby (Cisco) First. She married Doyt Ellsworth Lehman July 23, 1954 and he survives in Lima.
Marilyn graduated from Shawnee High School. She was a member of Lima Baptist Temple and attended Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. She had been a child care provider at Immanuel Lutheran Daycare. Marilyn enjoyed flower gardening, collecting cookbooks, reading, camping in the Hocking Hills and riding the motor scooter. A favorite part of her life for over 20 years was spending Friday night with her daughter and grandkids.
Additional survivors include a daughter Lisa (Lynn) Driver of Wapakoneta, 4 grandchildren and their children: Braden (Amanda) Katterheinrich with Elsie, Lena and Dane; Linzi (Ryan) Reynolds with Cole and Camille; Jordan (Kelsie) Katterheinrich and Adam (Katie) Katterheinrich; a sister Linda (Neil) Riffle of Elida and a sister-in-law Sue First of Ft. Wayne.
She was preceded in death by a brother Dennis First.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Glory Geib officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Samaritan’s Purse PO Box 3000 Boone, NC 28607.
