Mary L. (Sampson) Johnson, age 71 of Lima, died at 3:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Springview Manor, Lima. She was born May 11, 1946 in Lima, Allen County, Ohio to the late William W. and Lola Loretta Phalen Sampson.
Mary had been a accountant with GA Stevens, had worked as a key punch operator with Scott Lad Foods, and for the City of Lima on home safety.
She is survived by a daughter – Angela (Alvin) Conley of Lima; 2 sons- Anthony (Odessa) Sampson of Continental; Andrew Johnson of Lima; 8 grandchildren with one due in March, 3 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a brother – Joseph (Cindy) Sampson of Lima and a sister Katherine Shultz of Lima.
Memorial services will begin 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2018 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Pastor Steve Henderson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
