Mary Lou DuBois, age 87, of Cridersville died 8:10 p.m. Wed. May 21 at Auglaize Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 14, 1927 in Cridersville to William and Evelyn Umbaugh Crouse. She married Ross E. ‘Gene’ DuBois May 2, 1948 and he survives in Cridersville.
Mary Lou had been a secretary for The Paint Store and was a member of Cridersville United Methodist Church. She had been the choir director at the former Calvary United Methodist Church.
Survivors include 2 sons: Michael ‘Mike’ DuBois of Traverse City, MI and Christopher ‘Chris’ (Christine) DuBois of Wapakoneta, a daughter Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ (Bob) Patton of Wapakoneta and a daughter-in-law Marcie DuBois of Traverse City, MI; 4 grandchildren: Jason Patton, Kasey Patton, Christopher DuBois and Nicole Carey, 9 great grandchildren and a brother: James. L. (Sharon M.) Crouse of Apache Junction, AZ.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: William L. Crouse and Robert Wayne Crouse, and a sister Virginia Lee Crouse.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The funeral service will begin 10:30 a.m., Tuesday May 27 at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Martindell officiating. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Cridersville United Methodist Church.
