Mary M. Jolly, age 85 of Wapakoneta, died at 2:56 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Lima Memorial Health Care System. She was born February 3, 1928 in Wapakoneta, Ohio; the daughter of the late Cloyd and Effie Elizabeth Krause Fleming. On November 23, 1945 she married Allen Trenton Jolly who died February 6, 2002.
Mrs. Jolly was a homemaker and co-owner of Jolly’s Sewing Center. She is a long standing member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, and a past Sunday School teacher, belonged to the V.F.W. Post 8445 Auxiliary, the Wapakoneta Women’s Club, and Soroptomist Club where she was a past president. She was crafty, a great seamstress, and a giving lady who would do anything to help others.
Survivors include 3 sons – Vincent Lee (Joan) Jolly of Wapakoneta; Gregory Allen Jolly of Wapakoneta; John Thomas (Susan Flarida) Jolly of Wapakoneta; a daughter – JoAnn Keneipp of Wapakoneta;
12 grandchildren – Vincent (Heather) Jolly, Penny (Jeff) Musser, Heidi (A.J.) Lisi; Stacey (Darin) Applegate, Laura (Travis) Huston, Christopher Keneipp, Greg (Pam) Jolly, Jr. Natasha (Christa) Jolly, Kenny (Hope) Jolly, Ryan (Stephanie) Jolly, Josh (Kim) Jolly, and Shawn (Magee) Jolly; 20 great grandchildren; a special long time neighbor and friend Irma Burden of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by a son – Timothy Jolly; a son-in-law – Charles “Butch” Keneipp; 4 brothers – Larry Fleming, Lee Fleming, Grant Fleming, Joe Fleming; 3 sisters – Beulah Hilf, Maxine Lutterbein, Betty Gaberdiel; 2 step sisters – Rose Hardin and Ann Myers.
Funeral services will begin 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2013 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Rev. James C. Couser will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Matthew Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
