Maureen Ann McPheron

August 21, 1956 - January 16, 2022

Maureen Ann McPheron, age 65 of Lima, passed at 2:05 p.m., Sunday, January 16, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 21, 1956, in Lima, Ohio to the late Loney and Mary Milhbaugh Biddinger. On August 12, 1974, she married her high school sweetheart, Richard W. McPheron, who survives.

Mrs. McPheron retired in 2019, after 30 years, from Proctor and Gamble as head of security. She was a 1974 graduate of LCC. Maureen was a proud mother and grandmother who especially loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She was a selfless woman who loved building up others.

Other survivors include 2 daughters – Amber (Jeff) Lowe of Lima; Ashley (Tony) Ross of Lima; 6 grandchildren – Austin, Skyler, Anthony, MaKayla, Mason and Lily; a sister – Elise (Jon) Cowan of Lima; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and her mother-in-law – Norma Page of Lima.

She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law – Linda (Larry) Patton.

A celebration of Maureen’s life will be held at a later date.

I remember the first time meeting Maureen she was friendly and kind always she seemed to always have a smile on her face even when she wasn't feeling well. Working with her was amazing she was the one of the best people to work for. She will be greatly missed.

She was my work mom when I started in June 2015 out at P&G and helped me through a few things after my mom passed , came to my wedding in 2016 and a few other things she listened and advised. She was more than a boss to me at that time in my life. I will truly miss her kindness and thoughtfulness she extended to me. With love and hugs.

Maureen and I were childhood friends from our St.Rose days and our H.S years at L.C.C.I remember the slumber parties at the Biddinger home on Spring St, what fun we had.Please know that I am thinking of your family. Maureen will fondly be remembered. May she rest in peace!

I have a million memories with you! My latest favorite memories- were our Wednesday date nights. We would talk about very real things. We would laugh some and cry a little too.
