Melanie was always so full of life, doing and saying unexpected things. Always wore a smile on her face. She was a friend to me when I really needed it and I will always think of her fondly. My heart breaks for her sweet dad and her brother and his family. Heaven is a happier place with her in it. I can see her mom smiling with her there too.
So sorry to hear of Melanie's passing, we had good fun together many many years ago in 4-H . It was nice to see her with dad, showing up at the township meeting and talking with her again. I want to offer my deepest sympathies to her dad, Frank and her brother Craig, and all the rest of her family, who I'm sure will miss her......
Sorry for the loss of Mel. I went to Perry high school with her. On graduation day we walked together to the stage. Fine person and Great family!
Jr., Craig and family, May you feel God's peace and love during this difficult time. Treasure all the good memories you have with Melanie. I have such great ones of her and I growing up. All the fun times we shared on the farm, going to the Grange meetings with our moms, going to Lake Michigan to my grandpa Schlegel's camp on vacation and the fun times after we grew up. We may not have seen each other lately, but we shared closed birthdays, so we always kept in touch. I will miss that card this year and the fact that she always sent out the first Christmas card. She was my life long friend, dear to my heart. God's peace and love to you all.
Junior, I am so sorry to hear of Melanie's death. My prayers are with you and Craig. I'm sorry, I care. She was a wonderful daughter and friend.
