Michael E. ‘Mike’ Coleman, Sr., age 65, of Lima died 8:28 p.m., Tuesday Sept. 20, 2011 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born June 9, 1946 in Columbus, OH to Harold Eugene and Mary Emogene Lansing Coleman, both parents are deceased. He married Linda J. Sudlow Sept. 30, 1985 and she survives in Lima.
Mr. Coleman was a member of Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church of Lafayette and Gold Wing Touring Association. He enjoyed going to auctions, number 35 at Sargent’s Auction, woodworking and refinishing. He graduated from Colonel White High School in Dayton. He had been an auto body painter and had worked for Superior Coach, Mid – Bus and Pepsi Cola.
Survivors include 3 sons: Mike Coleman, Jr., Pat E. Bolling, Jr. and Shelby Coleman, 4 daughters: Regina Coleman, Monica (Marc) Dulebohn, Janelle Coleman and Lorette (Alex Tellez) Bolling, 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m., Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Troy Underhill officiating, burial will follow at Salem Cemetery near Westminster. Memorial contributions may be given to West Central Ohio Autism Community 1414 Hill Street Lima, OH 45801.
