Dearest Shelly, we are praying for Jesus to comfort you and your family. We have a great memory of Mike that we shared at Van Wert fair grounds! We loved those horse races and it was so hot, but Dave and Mike hung in there for us. Going and getting our favorite fair food! What a fun day to remember! We love you Shelly!? Dave and Barb West

In life you have only a few friends that really make a big difference in your life. Mike is one of those friends to me. He was like a brother to me for many years. Worked together, played together. I was his boss, he was my boss. He met this wild and crazy woman that made him settle down. "A little" Shelly was what he was looking for and he wasn't letting go. The more time I spent with them I knew he was charged forever. So many great times. So may moments of laughing so hard that our cheeks hurt, our gut hurt. From buying the "national enquire" putting our own messed up, funny, dirty, nasty bubble comments on them. Never forgetting them stupid comments 10, 20, 30 years later. Never spent enough time together after we went different directions. But, always remembering all those ridiculous jokes. From "jeasal peasal Arny" to "it's just not fair" It's just unbelievable that I'm the only one that will remember them. Laughing every time it comes to mind. To Mike's family I can only imagine what pain you are in. I am in pain. I have cried. I have just thought this can't be true. I just hope that at some point the pain will fade and the good memories are what you have with you the rest of your life. I hope and pray that that we all find peace and realize that Mike is one in a lifetime type of man that we were all very fortunate to know and love. Until next time. Seeya Mike.
