Mildred Betty Williams, age 87 went home to her heavenly family at 9:55 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2018 from Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born November 19, 1930 in Stanton, Michigan to the late Richard D. and Minnie Butterworth Case. She married Linville Williams, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker, had worked as a seamstress in a sewing factory, and was an accountant with Meade Farms. She was a member of the Cridersville Baptist Church, enjoyed fishing, sewing and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #370 of Lima.
She is survived by a son – Robert (Penny) Williams of TN; 5 daughters – Nancy (Fred) Hall of TN; Vickie (Dan) Emmons of Lima; Sally (Brett) McClintock of Waynesfield; Ruby (Ralph) Davis of TN; Loretta Williams of TN; 29 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren, with 1 on the way ; 3 great great grandchildren, with 2 on the way; a sister – Dorothy Edmond of MI.
She was preceded in death by a son – Linville “Jr.” Williams; a daughter – Mary Ann Driggers; a grandson – Justin Hilard; a step grandson – Seth McClintock; a great grandchild – Ameilianah Williams; a brother – George Case; 3 sisters – Bertha, Tressa, Edna.
Funeral services will begin 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Cridersville Baptist Church. Rev. Brandon Wireman will officiate. Burial will follow in Ward Cemetery, Bath Township.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the church and from 10:30 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the church.
