Nadine Ann Black, age 81 of Cridersville, died at 4:20 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born October 30, 1935 to the late John and Pauline Glovinsky Gresh. In 1961 she married Richard C. Black, Jr. , who died January 17, 2002.
Mrs. Black retired after 23 years with McDonald’s. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist and Eagles #370 of Lima. She enjoyed spending time with friends, gambling, and gardening. Most important, was her family whom she loved dearly.
Survivors include a son – Robert (Kellie) Black of Findlay; a daughter – Julie (Rory) Smith of Cridersville; 7 grandchildren – Jason (Gina) Black, Christy Black, Matthew Black, Erin (Jonas) Lasenby, Beau (Brittney) Smith, Hannah Smith, Dalton Smith; 12 great grandchildren; a great grandpuppy – Roxie; 2 brothers – Ernie (Shirley) Gresh of Port Clinton, Jim (Ruth) Gresh of Marblehead; 2 sisters – Paula (Jim) Hough of Marion; Becky (Dave) Mack of Lima; 2 sister-in-laws – Martha (Robert) Tussing of Lancaster; Jane (David ‘Buzzy’) Hollon of Lima; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers – Ted, Tom, Daniel, Paul, and David Gresh; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law – Peg (Gene) Edman.
Funeral services will begin 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Robert Tussing will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
