Nadine D. Frese age 78, of Wapakoneta, died 9:55 a. m., Friday, November 9, 2012 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, with her family by her side. She was born June 13, 1934 in Allen County Ohio to the late Harold A. and Margaret Carter Perry. On January 1, 1952 she married Norman Edward Frese who died February 21, 1999.
Mrs. Frese was the former owner of Dielman’s Motel, and worked various jobs throughout her life. She also was a former member of the F.O.E. Eagles Post 8332 of Roundhead. Some of her most joyous times in life were when she was sharing time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for being a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Nadine was a giving person who shared her love with Christ.
Survivors include 2 daughters – Vickie L. Menefee of Marysville, OH and Kelly M. (Ivan) Snay of Waynesfield; 8 Grandchildren – Justin, Nikki, Eddie, Wyatt, Jeremy, Jenna, Shannon, Kory; 8 Great Grandchildren – Kodi, Ivy, Delaney, Dustin, Tyler, Parker, Spencer, and Preston; several step grandchildren; 4 brothers – Bernard L. (Rosa Lee) Perry of Gulfport, Mississippi, Bruce E. (LaDonna) Perry of Lakeview, Oh and Greg B. (Teresa) Perry of Wapakoneta, a sister – Carla (Kevin) Shappel of Wapakoneta; a daughter-in-law – Nita Frese Gilroy of Lima; and a special friend – Bill Waterman of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by a son – Lonny D. Frese who died June 6, 2008; a granddaughter – Darcie Place who died 1986; and a brother – Harold A. Perry.
Memorial services will begin 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Kathleen Hayes will officiate. Burial of the cremated remains will be in Ft. Amanda Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association; Breast Cancer Research; or Waynesfield United Methodist Church.
