Nathaniel L. ‘Nate’ Tackett age 44, of Lima passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born May 3, 1977 to John L. Tackett of Lima and Jeannine L. Stevens Tackett of Lima.
Nate graduated from Allen East High School where he sang in the choir and was part of Four H. He attended The Ohio State University, Columbus and Youngstown University. He worked for Speedway as a general manager and was a DJ on the side. He loved to read, follow the news, enjoyed politics and was an equal rights advocate. He also enjoyed gaming and was a very proud uncle.
Additional survivors include sisters: Naomi Constanty and Natasha Tackett both of Lima and nephew Jake Constanty and Niece Haileyona Tackett and several aunts, uncles & cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Rev. Ervin and Inez Stevens and paternal grandparents William & Lois Tackett.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, Jan. 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene; 300 West Elm Street Lima with Rev. Gregory Stevens officiating a service at 3.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
