To the Family of Ned Myers: My husband and I were saddened to hear of the death of your father. For many years we were customers at Myers Hardware Store and he and your mom were such pleasant people to see when we went in there. They were such nice people. We have lived in Cridersville since 1976. Sincerely, Tammy and Rene Jeanneret

Sorry to hear of Ned's passing. I just remember the fun times that were shared in your parents back yard when they had their hog roast. Many good memories of both of your parents. Remember the good times, Chris Lambert

Greg, Jennifer, Stacey and family Billie and I are very sorry to hear of Ned's passing. He was very dedicated to the enhancement of the Village. He was a leader of projects that he believed in. He will be greatly missed. Ned and Jan was the leaders of planting the trees on Main street and enjoyed going to the yearly meetings to receive the Tree City USA award and Flag. As a kid I recall taking books of matches from the hardware to smoke and Ned caught me. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Cousin Ned was a solid guy, one of the handful of believers that helped my father's business venture and always a friendly/helpful person in every conversation. I hope your grief is brief and loving memories last a lifetime of your father and true American patriot! Keep the faith!

Our sincere condolences go out to all the family members of Ned Myers. He and his wife, Janice, both were such great contributors to the best little hometown, "Cridersville" ! Our 3 boys remember smiles and giggles at the "penny" candy counter picking our their favorite items. It was always great to see Ned at the annual fireman's festival, and merchants Halloween event. Their hardware business was a great asset to the community for years. Their children also took on their parents "'give back to the community" mantra. May he rest in peace. Joseph and Marilyn Garcia, Cridersville

My sincere condolence to the Myers Family. Very sorry to hear of your loss. I knew Mr. Ned well, as I used to be one of those kids at the candy counter. I grew up in Cridersville, so I knew him well. He was always a kind gentleman to encounter. Had a great smile and would do anything he could to help people out. I always have admired the house close to the tracks. He will always be remembered! Thanks Mr. Ned Myers for all the good memories.
