Norma Jean “Jeanie” Thomas age 79, of Wapakoneta passed away 11:55 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017 at Auglaize Acres. She was born June 5, 1938 in Lima to the late Russell Maynard “R.M.” and Norma Rose Rothlisberger Crawford.
Jeanie was a retired waitress having worked at the Hub Room and Lucky Steer. She enjoyed making afghans, jewelry and other crafts, playing BINGO and watching TV.
Survivors include 3 sons: William R. ‘Whitey’ (Karla) Thomas of Wapak, Russell P. and Ronald G. Thomas both of Cedar Keys, FL, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a sister Barbara Hauenstein of Lima and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 17 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, with a time of sharing to follow at 6:00.
