Celebrating the life of Norman Otis Kirchner came into this world on March 4th of 1938 and he left here on his 83rd birthday, on March 4, 2021. He left this world at home of natural causes and surrounded by his family. He graduated from Cridersville High School. He worked at Ford Motor Company for 38 years. Farming was his passion. He loved being in the fields, planting, harvesting and watching his crops grow. He loved working and enjoyed everybody else working. He would ask any of the kids that came in the house “Did you work today?” His journey here on Earth has left a legend in our hearts and his work here is finished.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Kennedy, married Sept. 7, 1963, children: Joseph James (Kim) Kirchner, Tonya (John) Godfrey, John (Jill) Kirchner and Angela (David) Wallace all of Cridersville, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one on the way, a sister, Yuteve Metzger of Wapak; her daughter, Elisha (Bart) Smith, their daughters Andrea and Emily and a great-great niece and nephew.
