Opal E. Mills, age 102 of rural Wapakoneta, passed at 2:34 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Cridersville Health Care. Opal E. Mills, age 102 of rural Wapakoneta, passed at 2:34 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Cridersville Health Care. She was born March 5 1917 in St. Johns, Ohio to the late Frank J. and Clara Marie Walters Selover. She married Keete Lockette Mills who preceded her in death on May 18, 2001.
Opal retired from Lima State Hospital as an electroencephalogram technician.
Survivors include 2 sons – Ronald A. (Pamela) Toland of Ada; Dennis L. (Darlene) Toland, Sr. of Wapakoneta; 10 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 35 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 6 brothers.
Graveside services will begin 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2019 at Walnut Hill Cemetery, near New Hampshire. Rev. Mark Hollinger will officiate.
Memorial contributions may given to Cridersville United Methodist Church.
