Pamela Jean Barnes, age 72 of Cridersville and formerly of Waynesfield, passed at 3:07 p.m., Monday, April 3, 2023 at home.

She was born October 18, 1950 in Westmoreland, PA to the late Donald K. and Dorothy V. Aikins Ripple. In 1969 she married Jack Slagle who passed September 2002. In May of 2003 she married Dale Barnes who passed in 2018.

Pamela was a homemaker and had belonged to the Eagles Lodge #3615 where she had been a Past Madam President and the Moose Lodge #1533 both of Indian Lake. She was a very loving person who had a heart for all people and loved being around family and friends. She enjoyed BINGO but mostly wanted to go play cards, especially with her dear friend Sue. Pam truly missed her beloved Dale and was looking forward to being with him again. She will be missed greatly by us all.

She is survived by 2 daughters – Jackie Jean (Bill) Slay of Lima and Melisa Ann (Thomas) Holloway of Cridersville; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren with one due in September; and 2 sisters – Joyce E. (George) Gallo of Edmon, Penna and Cheryl A. (Jeff) Steele of Vandergrift, Penna.

She was preceded in death by a great grandchild and a brother – Larry Lee Bowman.

A private family celebration will be held.
