Patricia A. ‘Pat’ Hoover age 92, of Lima passed away 11:12 a.m., Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Cridersville Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 10, 1928 in Lima to the late Lawrence H. ‘Mike’ and Cleo M. (Hanley) McGrievy. She married Oron D. Hoover Aug. 18, 1949 and he preceded her in death July 28, 2010.
Pat graduated from Lima South High School in 1948 was a member of Southside Christian Church and a homemaker. She also had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star and been a poll worker for the Allen County Board of Elections.
Survivors include a son: Oron D. ’Dan’ (Lynnona) Hoover, II of Lima, daughters: Michele (Glenn) Conner of Madison, TN and Jane D. (Jon) Gambee of Hamilton, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, step granddaughters, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Tracy (Debbie) Hoover, a brother Lawrence McGrievy, a sister Judy Hastings and a granddaughter Carla Hoffman.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 4th at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral will be 10: 30 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Wanda Werking officiating and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.

You left this world suffering, now you'll have ever lasting peace and happiness.
