Paul E. Joseph, age 80 of Cridersville, died at 11:18 p.m., Monday, July 3, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 28, 1937 in West Newton, Ohio; the son of the late Joshua E. and Francis Collingsworth Joseph. On December 8, 1955 he married Pauline Pitts who died December 1, 2009.
Mr. Joseph was retired from Accubuilt. He enjoyed playing jokes on people, fishing, hunting and loved his little dog Angel.
He is survived by 5 children – Jeff (Cindy) Joseph of Lima; Greg (Deb) Joseph of Cridersville; Anthony (Kathy) Joseph of Lima; Keith (Lisa) Joseph of Cridersville; and Charlotte (Greg of Lima) Johnson of Cridersville; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son – Danny Joseph and 5 brothers – Chuck, Howard, Alfred, Bernie, and Gary Joseph.
Funeral services will begin 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2017 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Jim Parlette will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Rita’s Hospice.
