Paul Thomas “Tom” Margraves age 68 of Cridedersville, died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at his residence. He was born January 1, 1942 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to William Wilson and Mary Marie Janeway Margraves. Both parents are deceased.
Mr. Margraves had been a machinist at SREECO and had served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter mechanic in Germany during the Vietnam Era.
Survivors include a special friend Diana Mershon of Cridersville, 2 brothers – Michael Margraves and Alan (Deniese) Margraves both of Lima, 4 sisters – Betty L. Gossard and Sue (Bill) Penland both of Lima; Jane (Don) Brown of Cridersville and Mary Jo (Jr.) Howell of Wapakoneta, a sister-in-law Marcie Margraves of Cridersville.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers – Charles Bruce Margraves and Gary Lynn Margraves.
The body has been cremated. Memorial services will begin 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The Rev. Jerry Wiles will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Military rites will be observed by V.F.W. Post 8445 of Wapakoneta.
