Paul W. Frazier, age 91 of Wapakoneta, died at 1:20 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Lima Memorial Health Care Systems. He was born on January 12, 1925 in Auglaize County, Ohio; to the late Dallas and Mamie Crider Frazier. He married Shirley A. Abbott who preceded him in death.

Mr. Frazier retired from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office and was a WWII U. S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wapakoneta, the American Legion Post 330 of Wapak, and a former member of the Free and Accepted Masons. He enjoyed being active, golfing, camping, working in the yard, and just tinkering around.

Survivors include 3 sons – Gregory P. (Cathy) Frazier of Celina, Randall B. Frazier of Perrysburg, Jody T. (Janel) Frazier of St. Mary’s; 9 grandchildren – Summer, Heidi, Paul Ray, Brooke (Joe), Jai (Gail), Doug, Mike (Christy), Brad (Ashley), and Geoff (Elizabeth); 17 great grandchildren with one on the way; 1 great grandchild; a sister – Betty of Ottawa; and a sister-in-law – Ruth of Wapakoneta.

He was preceded in death by a daughter -in-law – Pam Frazier; 2 brothers – Dick Frazier and Morris Frazier.

Services will begin 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta where military rites will be observed.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
