Raymond L. Shaw age 83, of Cridersville, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at St. Rita’s Medical Center of complications of pneumonia not due to COVID. He was born July 29, 1938 in Allen County to the late Harold L. and Donna (Shade) Shaw. He married Patricia Ann Coon Oct. 27, 1957 and she preceded him in death April 28, 2014.
Raymond was a lifelong farmer and was a member of the Allen County Farm Bureau. Aside from farming he also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include children: Cindy (Dennis) Martin of Cridersville, Gary Shaw of Cridersville, Pam Shaw of Lima and Donald Shaw of Marietta, GA; 5 grandchildren: Azure Nicole (Bill) Klausing, Alexander (Sarah) Shaw, Alexis M. (Will) Gremling, Amy (Chris) Craig and Jody McKinley; 8 great grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Hope.
No public services are planned. Memorial contributions may be given to Cats Haven, 1605 McClain Rd. Wapak, OH 45895.
