Rebecca “Becky” Moore Lacey

Rebecca ‘Becky’ Moore Lacey, age 57 of Lima, passed Saturday, June 17, 2023 at home.  She was born November 21, 1965 in Boone County, West Virginia to Robert and Ethel Green Moore. Her mother preceded her in death and her father survives in Stout, Ohio.

Becky was a homemaker and attended Perry High School.  She enjoyed gardening and being outside around the flowers. She had a passion for fashion but would give you the shirt off her back and would share anything she had. Her greatest treasure was her family and especially her grandchildren; she dearly loved being around family and friends. Becky will be remembered for her loving and caring nature, friendly personality, and having a heart of gold.

She is survived by 2 daughters – Brooke E. (Robert) Cook of Spencerville; Brandy N. Lacey of Harrod; 4 grandchildren – Bryce, Isabella, Ariana, Samuel and a granddaughter due in September – Sofia Rebecca; her life partner – Ronn Lacey of Lima; her brother – Rob Moore of Lima; a sister – Vicky (Paco) Espinoza of Lima; and her four legged friends – Sara and little baby kitty.

She was preceded in death by a son Ronnie ‘Cash’ Lacey who died April 13, 2020 and a sister Darlene Hirn, who died January 28, 2018.

Funeral services will begin 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Charlotte Hefner will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Allen County Humane Society.
